Time in the Studio
by Lou on Aug.06, 2009, under General
Well, seems I’ve been spending a whole lotta time in the studio lately. Trying to get a CD done and some music finished so you folks have something to listen to when you visit the site. Jon also needs something to give to club owners cause I’ve been out of it for so long people don’t have a clue of who I am or what I sound like.
Was replacing the tweeters in my studio monitors the other day. I decided I could do it while they were still on the mounting brackets. Seems I didn’t have the right bracket fastened down as good as I should have and an 85 lb YAMAHA NS-1000 came crashing down on my Studiomaster board…as Chris Farley and my son Michael would say “Could have done without that!” Luckily it only crunched the meter bridge!
My thanks to Pete Codispoti for helping me get my original tunes out of the RX 5. Once I have those in MIDI format I’ll be looking forward to having my buds lay some tracks down and playing them live.
Keep checking back for upcoming shows. I’ll soon have a place for you to sign up to receive an email on when and where I’ll be playing. That’s all for now.
Thanks,
Lou
